CLIPART MASTER PAGE Testimonial ~

Thanks for sharing...have bookmarked your great site! Will be glad to share as soon as I come up with a quote that isn't already here!

~ Judi

All of this Clipart is Public Domain as far as we know (except those few marked with a copyright symbol (C). If you use these -- we ask that you retain the symbol and the name of the artist) so feel free to download and use for your projects. If anyone finds and image on this site that is believed to be copyrighted and should not be considered Public Domain, please send us an email to the contact address above. Enjoy!!!

  1. FINDING "FREE" CLIP ART -- It is not eay to find clipart that is really free for ALL uses. Most free clipart use is restricted to personal, non commercial use or educational use at schools. The best way to be sure is to search at GOOGLE for "free clipart" and then make sure (A) that there are no restrictions at the referred sites and (B) if there is a copyright symbol on the page, there should also be a clear notice that the art may be downloaded and used free of charge. If you simply search for clipart -- you will likely wind up at sites where it is not clear if the art is truly free. You will also be swamped with pop-ups. We have found NO sites where all the art is really free for all uses. As far as we know, the art linked from this craftkaboom page is the only free art available. If you find other truly free clipart -- please tell us.
  2. HERE IS A BIG SELECTION OF WONDERFUL CLIPART THAT IS UNCONDITIONALLY FREE -- From the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Here is what they say on their site -- "You may use these drawings in your newsletters, Web pages, reports, etc. No approval from the Service is required before using these drawings. They are not copyrighted, and you may use them for no charge. If you use these images in your publication, we do request that you include a credit line for Robert Savannah, U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service." << http://www.fws.gov/r9extaff/drawings/drawing.html / Owls / Upland Game Birds / Plants / Water Wading Birds / Pelicans / Songbirds / Red Cockaded Woodpecker / Waterfowl / Oppossum / Reptiles / Rodents / Game Fish / Black Bear / People in search of Wildlife / Snakes / Mammalian Predators / Racoons / Badgers / Ungulates (Big Game) / Great Horned Owl / Credit: Robert Savannah, U. 3. Disneyclipart.com --- They claim to be the largest collection of Disney Clipart on the web and we believe them. We found this site about a year ago but would not put it up because we thought it might be a bootleg site. However, it has remained up and strong for such a long time, we feel that Disney must support it. We highly recommend you visit this site if you are into Disneyana. Visit: http://www.Disneyclipart.com
  4. Classroom clipart -- http://classroomclipart.com/. Lots of art which can be downloaded. It is a fee based service.
  5. Barry's Clipart Server --- Visit: http://www.barrysclipart.com/ . It appears that the art on this site can be downloaded at no cost -- because no charges are listed. However, there is no explicit statement that downloads are free. Note that there is a copyright notice by "Art Today" at the bottom of the first page on the site. Technically, that means all the art is under copyright and should not be downloaded without permission. This site is heavily linked to clipart.com -- see info immediately below.
  6. clipart.com -- A big site -- lots of info (although some is confusing) and links on clipart. They say you can find "over 3 million quality photos, fonts, clipart and animations!" from their site. That is an amazing number. Visit: http://www.clip-art.com/ . Be aware though -- many of the links on this site lead in circles back to this site and it is hard to tell which art is free and which should be paid for. If you follow the links, you will also see lots of pop-ups which may be annoying. And, there is an ambiguous copyright notice by "Art Today" at the bottom of the first page on the site. Technically, that means all the art is under copyright and should not be downloaded without permission.
