Strategy

Our strategy has been to wade through 15 primary and authoritative
targets and use their “topics” as a start for a controlled vocabulary.
A link to those “targets” will be listed at the top of every alphabetical page.

We also checked out and linked to various small independent sites who
seem to us to be doing a good job in their chosen area.

We will now go back and check out each of the topics at each of the
targets and link to any text that seems to add something not already
covered in depth.

There are about 8,000 links that cover approximately 5,000 topics.

When we mature, we will then use search windows to find other
information on the topics across the Internet as a whole.

Comments are invited regarding (a) the indexing aspect of the site,
(b) the validity of this general approach to generating an Internet Index
and (c) this method of selecting topics for an internet index.
